WASTED STORE
Founded in 2025, WASTED brand emerged from a passion for environmental responsibility. Our founder, Silver Blaze, produces all available accessories by hand with attention to detail and playfulness necessary to work with waste.
With a background in design and sustainability studies, Silver Blaze began experimenting with upcycled materials in 2020, radically saving unwanted jewellery from bins, “I will fix it later” drawers and unopened gift bags.
For years now she has been discovering the hidden potential in what others might consider trash.
THE CRAFT
Each piece of jewellery at WASTED is handcrafted with care and precision, and undertakes endurance tests before sales.
We source preloved materials such as vintage trinkets, industrial remnants, and forgotten treasures from our community memebers. By giving new life to these materials, we create accessories that are not only beautiful and characteristic but also make a political and environmental statement.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
We are dedicated to reducing waste and minimizing our environmental footprint by reducing purchases, reusing what's broken and upcycling it into wearable pieces of art. By choosing upcycled materials even for our packaging, we contribute to a circular economy, where resources are treated as treasures, just like your new piece of jewels. Our commitment extends beyond our products; we strive to educate and inspire our community to make sustainable choices and appreciate the art of transformation by designing workshops, lectures and art residencies that introduce waste as an alternative source of materials for creative industry.
